Personal Assistant/Pensions and Investment Admin Team Leader
As well as being PA to Mike Bandurak, our business owner, Lynn oversees all administrative work in her department and has helped to train all of our staff to the very highest level.
Fully qualified at Certificate level through the Chartered Insurance Institute, Lynn brought considerable additional skills and experience to us following 7 years of service at the Birmingham Midshires Building Society in the 1990s where she was Team Leader of the Administration Department. Lynn is now progressing towards full Chartered Insurance Institute certificate status having recently passed both FA1 & FA2. Lynn has a CII Level 3 certificate in Financial Services and also has a Certificate in Life and Pensions. She passed RO5 last year, RO1 a few years ago and continues to study.
Lynn is a keen member of a local pub quiz team and was once a contestant on ‘The Weakest Link.’ She was also part of the PIA team who appeared on the TV quiz show, ‘Eggheads’ in April 2011
Lynn is engaged to Steve and they plan to get married on the 17th September this year. She has 2 grand-daughters, Brooke who is 4 and Summer who is 3 this year. She also has a furry grandson called Milo (dog). Lynn still holds the official title of Chief babysitter!

I enjoy finding solutions for individuals through holistic planning where I specialise in Protection, Investment, Pension and IHT advice. I believe the key to success within my role is to listen and consider my client’s needs and objectives throughout the planning.
I have two daughters and two older step children, so life outside of work is always very busy with afterschool activities and family days out. When I get some time for myself, I like to keep fit and regularly attend spin classes and train at the gym. I do also enjoy road running (as long as it’s not raining).

He spent 3 years at Lancaster University gaining a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science. He then went onto enhance his knowledge by achieving an MSc in Investment Analysis at Aston Business School, specialising in modules such as portfolio and investment management.
Since joining PIA, Adam has been exposed to various roles providing him with valuable industry experience. Adam has achieved the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and continues to study with the Chartered Insurance Institute with a goal to reach Chartered Status.
Away from the workplace, he enjoys spending time with family and friends. Adam is passionate about football. He has played since the age of 9 and has represented various local and county teams. Currently he plays for a local team and likes to keep fit by regularly attending the gym.

Compliance Manager
A person with a wide range of experience within the financial services sector, having been successful in a variety of roles over approaching 35 years, Rob is qualified to diploma level with the Chartered Insurance Institute. He also has a number of Customer focused qualifications via the Institute of Financial Services. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our business.
Rob’s key areas of work to date include Financial Conduct Authority relationship management and development of internal compliance strategy, policies and processes
Rob also volunteers for Leicestershire & Rutland 4×4 Response, which was founded in 2010 and is a registered charity made up of volunteers who utilise their own vehicles and equipment to provide assistance to the emergency services and community in times of severe weather or disaster. He is very proud to be involved locally.
Administrator
Alex is a key player within the mortgage team. His role involves ensuring that your mortgage application is submitted to the lender accurately and efficiently. He has a keen eye for detail and excellent organisational skills which helps keep the department running smoothly and ensures that the systems and processes are kept up to date and accurate.
In his spare time, Alex, being a film fanatic, enjoys building his collection of films and (slowly) getting through his backlog but not before adding more to it. He is also an avid gamer and enjoys spending time with his family.

Working at Windsor Life as part of the Pension Review Team for four years, Lynsey then joined Ashby London Financial Services in 2003 as an administrator. In 2005 Lynsey became a paraplanner and remained in that role until joining us at PIA.
Qualified to Certificate level, Lynsey will work towards becoming diploma qualified.

Remunerations Assistant
Since joining PIA, James has taken on the role of our remunerations officer as well as being responsible for other housekeeping duties within the company.
Outside of work, James enjoys spending time with friends as well as listening to music, watching football, films and box sets.

He has been an active Financial Planner since 2015 and he often speaks of his great enjoyment for this role. “The privilege of helping people with their financial needs, objectives and aspirations is always an enjoyable one”. Mark strongly believes Wealth Management must be holistic, meaning he is capable and qualified to consult on areas such as Pensions, Investments, Tax Planning, Trust, Mortgage, Equity Release and Protection work.
Mark is actively pursuing Chartered Status with the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). This demands a serious time commitment and involves intensive and extensive technical examination. Successful completion will see him join the small and prestigious ranks of the most elite Advisers in the county.
In his spare time Mark is a keen sportsman, usually found on a football pitch or golf course; but equally able to turn his hand to most sports. He is also an avid traveller; always on the lookout for new adventures across the globe with his wife Sian.

Senior Paraplanner
He started his career with Sun Life Assurance Company, based in Wolverhampton in 1986. He subsequently joined IFA Ashby London Financial Services Ltd in 1996 and worked there until 2011 as a Paraplanner.
Qualified to Certificate Level with the Chartered Insurance Institute and having recently passed the Institute Investment qualification RO2, Paul is qualified and responsible for the preparing the company’s investment research and report writing.
Married with one daughter, Paul is an avid supporter of Wolves and Worcester Warriors Rugby Club and also enjoys motorbike riding and playing golf in his spare time.

Having fully trained with GRE he then moved into the Independent Financial Advisory sector; initially with Willis Coroon before moving to A & JC Annan, where he became Sales Director.
Shaun then accepted the opportunity to take a Director role at Ashby London Financial Services in Wolverhampton, a widely respected advisory businesses in the Midlands.
His short geographical move across Wolverhampton to PIA Wealth Management sees Shaun reacquainted with previous colleagues and long-time friends. It is a positive move for Shaun and complements his close associations with local accountants and solicitors already familiar with PIA.
Shaun holds the Diploma in Financial Services with the Chartered Insurance Institute and his main areas of financial expertise centre around Pre and Post Retirement Planning, Tax efficient Investment Planning, Corporate Protection across all markets as well as providing Personal Protection advice.
Shaun is a sportsman at heart, being a single figure golf handicapper, long since retired footballer and, for many years, a cricketer in the Staffs Clubs Championship and Birmingham League.

Paraplanner/Trainee Financial Planner
She is fully qualified to certificate level with the Chartered Insurance Institute as well as holding the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practices (CeMap). Nicola has also gained qualification to level 4 diploma level with the Institute of Financial Services.
Previously PA to John Davidson, Nicola returned from maternity leave in October 2012 to the Paraplanning Department where she worked as a Paraplanner carrying out research and report writing.
After 5 years of working within this department assisting Consultants with the research and report writing, Nicola is now pursuing her career further and has become a Trainee Consultant.
To help develop her career Nicola is currently studying Equity Release and works closely alongside one of our most Senior Consultants Liz Monk in conjunction with the Mortgage Department. Here it is where Nicola specialises in ensuring all clients have the right form of protection in connection with their mortgage.

A Financial Services career spanning more than 30 years has given Liz a wealth of Life and Pensions experience in all aspects of the Industry.
Liz is fully qualified at Diploma level 4 with the Institute of Financial Services and her other qualifications include CeMAP – Mortgages plus Long Term Care and Equity Release as well as possessing the Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Business Studies.
Liz believes in treating all her clients with an holistic approach and is able to advise on all aspects of personal financial advice. In July 2012 Julie completed her financial advice diploma which led to her next career move into the independent sector with us at PIA Wealth Management joining in March 2013.
Since joining us here at PIA Julie has gone on to gain further examination success by passing both the Chartered Institute’s Equity Release qualification together with the CeMAP Mortgage examination. She also holds the CII Long Term Care Qualification.
Her main interests outside of work include travel and socialising with friends which includes theatre breaks and, of course, compulsory shopping trips.

Married to Gaynor, he has two Sons, Alexander who is a member of the team at PIA Wealth management and Callum, who’s passion for sport has allowed him to forge a career within professional football as a Sports Therapist.

Away from the workplace Dave enjoys spending time with his wife Amy and sons Jake and Toby. Personal Assistant
Sally joined PIA in August 2022 with 35 years’ experience in Financial Services, both tied and independent.
She worked for Allied Dunbar (now Zurich) for 17 years, working with one of their top producers by providing administration support at his office in Amblecote. Sally then moved to Newell Palmer, a small Independent practice in Wolverhampton, working with their Managing Director in a support capacity before being promoted to Team Leader where in addition she also managed a Team of administrators.
Newell Palmer were acquired by Ascot Lloyd in 2019 where Sally gained a multitude of new skills, and providing support for several advisers. In her spare time Sally spends a lot of time with her family and 5 grandchildren. She has even been known to ‘zip wire’ with them.
Sally has recently taken up Salsa classes and swims on a regular basis, although by her own admission she is still not quite back to the rhythm she possessed prior to lockdown. As she says……… it’s always good to have a goal in life!

Trainee Personal Assistant
Luca joined the PIA team in June 2022 as a Trainee Personal Assistant and will over the next few years develop his all-round internal administrative knowledge and skills which will enable him to further his career in financial services. He is eager to learn as much as he can in his new role, as he is very keen to progress in the industry.
Outside of work, Luca has been learning the Italian Language, as he is half Italian and has many relatives in Italy. Luca likes to keep active in his spare time, where he may be found in the gym quite often after work, as he aims to maintain a healthy body and lifestyle. He also enjoys to get about on his bike
and cycle, on which he cycled over 800 miles during the past 12 months.
Lastly, Luca is a keen football fan and is passionate about both playing and watching football, with his favoured team being the Wolves.

IT Manager
Having over 15 years experience in the IT industry, Lee has a wealth of knowledge on all aspects of the modern IT world, from systems integration to paperless offices and modern media. Lee is qualified up to MCSA level and regularly attends industry seminars to keep abreast of all the latest developments.
In his spare time, Lee enjoys short weekends away with his family to the countryside (as far away from the nearest computer as possible!) and finding new places to eat out.

Tracey is a fully qualified Mortgage & Protection Adviser. She has many qualifications including CEMAP and the Certificate in Advanced Mortgage Advice. Tracey graduated from the Open University in 2015 with a level 5 in Higher Education and a level 4 certificate in Business. In addition to this she also has her Equality and Diversity Qualification.
Tracey has a real passion for all aspects of Mortgages and Protection and prides herself in ensuring that every client receives ‘the attention to detail’ they deserve.
Outside of work Tracey is kept busy with her lovely family which includes her prize possession Poppy, her rescue dog.

Starting her career with the Bank of Scotland in the Outer Hebrides in 1983 Mary then moved to the Standard Life Assurance Co in Edinburgh in 1988.
Following a transfer to Standard Life, Wolverhampton in 1989, Mary then joined Ashby London Financial Services in 1998 as an administrator, dealing in all aspects of financial services, a role that continued until joining us at PIA.
Qualified to FPC 3 level, Mary recently passed FA1 and FA2 and is on her way to being fully diploma qualified.

Joining the Sun Life Assurance Company based in Wolverhampton in 1977, Andy then became part of the merger between Sun Life and AXA Equity & Law becoming AXA Sun Life from 1998.
His main specialist area today is the very important area of annual client review processing which does require particular skills and wide Industry knowledge. Andy works very closely with Mike Osborne and Richard Bourne and holds the ‘Award in Financial Administration’.
An avid Wolves season ticket holder and classic car owner, Andy also enjoys taking part in local pub quizzes as well as sharing additional interests in music and history.

Prior to founding the Company, Mike was a Senior Inspector for the Scottish Amicable Life Assurance Company for over 15 years and in a career expanding more than 45 years has built up a huge level of knowledge and professionalism which is invaluable to us.
Fully qualified at Certificate level with the Chartered Insurance Institute, Mike has also passed his diploma exams to level 4 with the Institute of Financial Services. He actively encourages colleagues to constantly upskill themselves by offering total financial support to help them achieve the high goals he sets.
Outside of work Mike is a keen sportsman and whenever possible he enjoys watching local football at all the West Midlands Professional football clubs. He is also a keep fit enthusiast and regularly attends Richard Taylor’s Gym.

Receptionist/Remunerations Consultant
Alison spent the first fifteen years of her career in the advertising industry as a Graphic Designer working both within advertising agencies and freelance. She also spent 11 years on a part time basis lecturing on this subject at Solihull Technical College and a 1 year stint at Bournville College of Art. This background has been valuable as Alison was able to assist with some of the PIA stationary design.
Having joined PIA in July 1999, Alison spent the first two years here as a PA before taking over as Receptionist, additionally Alison then took on the role of our Remunerations Administrator. Alison has a son Lee who also works for PIA as the IT Manager.
During her spare time Alison loves spending time with her family especially her grandson. She is a keen photographer, loves motorcycle racing, attends tennis tournaments especially Wimbledon when possible and also enjoys a Saturday morning 5k parkrun
